INSANE IN THE BRAIN?

Fri Feb 6, 2009, 10:39 PM
So... it's been two years since I made a "journal" entry, mostly due to the fact that I'm not really a remarkable contributor to dA and a total of like, 3 people check my profile each year.

I have grown up some, obviously but still lack all the right fundamentals of a kid with my ambitions. Don't want to go to school, don't want to sleep at night, don't want much really. How does one go to university with that mentality? One doesn't, one simply gets all lame and emo and because one's dreams are slipping through the cracks. Eh, there's plenty of time to make something of myself, tradespeople are in high demand plus they get some pretty good money. Goodbye biochemistry.

Currently I'm a homeless as Malevolent Boyfriend X told me I was no longer welcome in my own home, which was mine to begin with. My mothers bad taste amazes me. The reason I got the boot was stupid anyhow; I was tired and wanted a few more hours of sleep so I went into my moms room, which is also MBX's lair to sleep. I'll give you some history on MBX: He thinks there is a Virgin Mobile satellite orbiting Mars gathering solar energy so as to destroy the earth; once he explained the physics of removing the ash from a cigarette from a table top, without getting any inside little creases. He was all, do you understand o padawan? And I was, yeah it's using your hand to create potential energy and your arm to realize that energy into kinetic energy, moving the ash forward at such a velocity that it passes over the crease.

And he was like, naw man, you create an air pocket with your hand and eject the ash to its destination with that air pocket. I thought we were talking about real physics silly me, and had to sit through an eight minute long discussion on his air pocket thing.

But on a less stupid note, I have a job at Subway now once more elevating my status from regular old citizen to..... SANDWICH GIRL!!! I hate minimum wage jobs. My friend, who's young than me, works for the government during tax season. She makes like, $17 an hour because she took language courses in high school. My other friend works two part-time minimum wage jobs and that's shown me how your wage really does affect the pay you receive. She's had those jobs for about 5 1/2 months and has earned just &1200 for them; McDonald's pays $8.75, a quarter higher than minimum wage. In three months I made more than her, working part time but averaging 60-80 hour weeks.

That's why they made the lottery:)

Canada, well Manitoba anyway, is still pretty stable considering the GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISIS. And guess what... if the war stopped... i think maybe things would look better... COUGH COUGH YOU STUPID AMERICANS.

Honestly, why must Canada get entangled with America's little fights. We should withdraw our soldiers and be done with; pull a Sweden. There were rumors a few years ago that Steven Harper was going to take Canada from the Kyoto Accord and make a new pact with Bush and the US, will Obama be interested in this?

I dearly hope America's new president is all I heard he was. Canada needs time to work on sustaining itself, not to mention curbing overuse of like, 90% of our resources. America has to be strong for Canada to be strong, apparently. Eh, I think America should convert to the Crown and just be done with corporate ignorance and suburban poverty. Ever heard of a tent city?

A child, when given a poor grade on a test, is too rooted to reality to ponder all the reasons why he received this bad mark. As one ages the main thought could perhaps be, why did this happen, must it have happened this way? Could I have done something differently? Is that the downside of knowledge and adult status?

Thanks for the fave.

(Just as a heads up: you placed my picture in your 'Stock' folder. I don't know if it was an accident or not, but could you remove it? I can't claim the line art, just the color job.)
